                                                                  JAI MATA DI

HER IS MY YATRA DETAILS MIND BLOWING TRIP.........JUST ENJOY ...........

When you work in a company then its very difficult to go for a holiday especially when there is not adequate manpower.
I along with other 6 friends somehow made a plan to go to Shimla to enjoy the snowfall. Everything was working very well until two of my friends had some urgent work at home and due to this 5 of my friends canceled the event.
Now there was two of us left and we thought 'VAISHNO DEVI' was calling us, therefore, we both planned to go VAISHNO DEVI temple at Jammu.
We right then booked the ticket through IRCTC on 27.11.2017 form Bathinda station to Jammu.
We both got ready on time reached the station by 6:00 pm in the evening.
If you also plan for the VAISHNO DEVI TRIP then do not depend upon food received in trains. You either make food at home or eat deep fried food or just take some fruits along with you.
The food provided in the train is very unhygienic and some time can get you sick.
The night was very boring and could not sleep. Just around 4 o clock in the morning a woman in the behind row screamed and I went toward her to look what had happened. She drank hot tea directly and her tongue got blisters dye to that. She was scolding the Tea man. He directly left the sight after that.
Even the TC was very lazy as he did not even ask us whether we had booked a ticket or not.
Now we had reached Jammu station and as we got out of the station we enter the bus stand.

We took a bus from Jammu to Katra with a ticket of 80 each. The driver of the bus was quite generous as he offered a person free lift till the nearest city and second on request he gave his phone to a customer to call someone that too free.
As we were about to reach Katra all the gents were told to go through a police check-up post as the security is quite high in J&K. He stopped in between for 10 minutes for snacks and he dropped us at Katra bus stand.

We were tired as I had not slept properly the previous whole day and I could clearly dark circles under my eyes.
We right away went to a Dharamshala took a hot bath bought some 'Parshad' for Rs-500 took a ticket to do Darshan(The ticket counter is right I front of bus stand and we are required to buy it before we start the yatra, its free).

After taking the ticket we had breakfast-aloo paratha for Rs 270 and tea for -Rs-40.
On the way, a person came to us and sold silver like Vishnu Devi Coin which is a symbol of good luck.
After again check-up by officials, we were allowed to enter the temple premises and start the  Yatra to the VAISHNO DEVI TEMPLE.
You have the choice to continue the 13 KM incline yatra via horse, palki, helicopter or walk.
We chose the hardest one-walk.
Starting one KM was fine but rest of 12 KM were exhausting -very exhausting.
While we were in the middle one monkey came towards me and made an unsuccessful attempt of snatching the Parshad I had bought for the Mata G.
After a while, the second monkey almost snatched the Parshad packet from me. The monkey began following me until I had hidden the parsed packet in my jacket.
Therefore be aware of monkey's they can harm you sometimes if they see some eatable in your hand.
Finally, we had reached the top and after keeping our shoes, wallet, belt, mobile and other leather stuff in the locker were allowed to visit the VAISHNO DEVI Temple and do the Darshan.
Finally, we did the Darshan and went to Lord Shiv temple just beneath, and the Lord Bhairav temple which is 1.4 Km away.

After visiting the Lord Bhairav temple we were extremely tired and hungry so decided to eat a rice-dal meal with a  glass of milk.
Then we decided to return back.
It took us 4.5 hours to climb the top but returning was a bit easy as gravity was with us, therefore, returned the exit point under 2 hours.
Our legs were paining extremely bad and were shaking with pain. We went to the room did some leg massage and tried to sleep but failed.
Therefore went out and had dinner for Rs-90 and after that had a strong dose of combiflame and tea as well.
Then we caught a bus to Jammu at 12:00 Am and went to Jammu.
The bus driver drooped us at a bus stand, Jammu. As we got out of the bus station we did not found any auto to drop us to a railway station. Trusting Google maps we moved to the direction it gave us.
The distance between the bus stand and the railway station is about 5-6km.
We walked 1  Km and found an auto to drop us to our desired location(railway station) for Rs-100. We slept till 7 Am in the morning and got the train at 8:15 am.
We board the train and felt sleep as we laid on our sleepers seat.
We woke up around 3:30pm, just got some patty to eat and tea to drink.
We reached Bathinda station at pm got an auto to Fogi chock and board the bus to our destination, Living quarters Banawali.
